PRESIDENTIAL DOUBLE SPEAK

Once upon a time a sitting president of the USA uttered these words as if he not only believed them to be true but also expected the rest of the world to believe them.

Some nations may be able to turn a blind eye to atrocities in other countries. The United States of America is different.   Wherever people long to be free, they will find a friend in the United States…    Obama’

He went on to say:

For generations, the United States of America has played a unique role as an anchor of global security and as an advocate for human freedom. Mindful of the risks and costs of military action, we are naturally reluctant to use force to solve the world’s many challenges. But when our interests and values are at stake, we have a responsibility to act.

“A dead thing can go with the stream, but only a living thing can go against it.”      —G.K. Chesterton

So while this absolute “doublespeak” sinks in let me remind you of what was happening at that time..

The USA was about to use NATO and the World Bank to attack Libya and turn it into a stone age pile of rubble. Apart from the ever-present CIA there were no American troops to spill their blood in that desert turned in to an arable area. But what followed was as savage a beating as any schoolyard bully ever inflicted on a helpless girl.

I am still ashamed that Canada had such a leading role with the avid encouragement from Stephen Harper and John Baird.

(from which comes this quote:

“The school year is starting so they’ll have to pay teachers. They’ll have to pay for the electricity, for the water systems, all the other public services that are essential to a stable and free society. So we’re urging them to do it as expeditiously as possible and putting our weight behind others who are making similar calls.”

(Hard to do really as we managed to bomb all the hospitals, schools, water supply and other things except of course the oil refineries. Did we rush to help fix them again? Not a chance. )

Was Muammar Gaddafia a good leader?

It depends on what is considered good. Jihadists would not call him good as he was against jihadist Islam. A reasonable person would call him good as he gave his people an excellent standard of living , the average Libyan having a better and higher standard of living than the average American.

An intellectual or Progressive Libyan probably thought him bad because of the one party state ,but I bet they now pine for him ,compared to what Nato-America has given them by butchering Gaddafi….

(Based on the UN statistics in 2009 Libya was one of the best countries in human development, education and healthcare.)

After Gaddafi unfortunately most Libyan youths joined militias and many of them were killed in civil wars. Many of the schools which were built in Gaddafi ‘s time became prisons to Libyans. The human rights had the worst records ever. The girls can’t feel safe to go to universities and their families can’t leave them to pursue their studies out of their cities. According to the UN statistics in 2019 Libya scored 115 in education, healthcare and human development compared to 55 in 2009.

All these can show what Gaddafi is in terms of leadership in the national level. All in all the man changed his country from a state needing help to a country who helps and influences other nations such as Africa. When he died Gaddafi was the leader of African union and he was planning to united its currency, army, and economy.

However this was not allowed as appeared in Clinton’s emails recently. The problem with Gaddafi, he was trying to wake up the African sleeping giant which will be very dangerous for America and NATO. They are pretty sure that if Africa stands it will wipe the face of the earth as it has all the resources. Therefore, all the powerful nations want to control it as main resources and market.

This is the main reason behind assassination of Gaddafi and that why he was bad leader.

(or promoted as such).

(He also warned that the African migrants would be a problem if he was taken out and he was right)

So what was Obama actually saying?

“We have and always will interfere with the workings of any nation that asks for help, and if they do not ask we will give them that help anyway as long as they have something worth taking that we want.”

This of course is my interpretation and judging by what the USA (and NATO allies such as Canada) have done since WW2 I would claim that is pretty accurate.  In order to be the bully you must first bully the defenseless to gain a reputation.

Since the US economy was tottering another war was needed and so a phony proxy NATO war was launched in 2022 as a growth of the civil one started by the USA in 2014 in Ukraine.  (Some will say that the Russians illegally invaded Ukraine, and if that was the case why have they stopped at the edge of the Donbas?) The idea was of course to give masses of out-of-date armaments to the Nazi government there and allow the US industrial military complex to get into high gear to make new weapons.   How is that working out?   Really well as Ukraine is now attacking Russia almost daily and how long will the Russian patience last, I wonder.  That is another thing NATO wants – loss of patience.  And was a promise not made that US weapons would not be used against Russia?  Of course, but any agreement NATO make with Russia is as invalid as the fake concept of  western democracy.

Now of course we have a situation arising in Africa, which almost certainly would not have happened if Gaddafi was still alive, and as usual the US (and Canada) are trying to dictate to these smaller African countries with essential resources what they should do and will be using their favourite first weapon – sanctions anyone?

Meanwhile the countries of the world which are tired of being bullied are gathering to create their own trading and monetary systems.  What do we hear about that in Canada?  Nothing as the CBC is, it appears, unaware that BRICS even exists.

Gonna be an interesting last half of 2023 me thinks!

Do not pity poor Andrew Scheer.

What happens to a man whose entire working career has been that of a Canadian politician?

He has stepped down as leader of the opposition which means he loses his free house, free car and chauffeur, chef and household manager.  He also has now to pay for his childrens’ private schooling and to cap it all off he takes a $100,000.00 pay cut!  Wow.  I guess the question is does he get to keep all those goodies until a new leader is elected?  Probably.

I guess that is what happens when someone relies on the Canadian people for his livelihood. On the other hand. he can remain as a lifelong member of the House of Commons as he belongs to a party which is so well established in his home province that he is not in jeopardy of losing his conservative seat no matter how irrelevant he may be. By the time he finally retires his tax-free monthly pension will be the equivalent of a working man/woman’s annual wage.  Of course, as a US citizen, he could always go south and run for the senate there!

There was some sort of joke that he would try again to be Speaker of the House, and that indeed would be a cruel joke as he was perhaps the most partisan and weak Speaker in Canadian History as his actions in the Brad Butt affair clearly showed.   To have him return in that position would indeed be an apt judgment on the value the elected representatives have in the so-called peoples’ House.

Perhaps if he had been paying attention to the mood of Canadians rather than personally attacking his opponent, he would have been PM but he choose instead to be a fool. That should be a lesson to any would-be PM.  The people do have a say in who governs them, or should I say represents the corporate lobbyists to us all, and should be paid attention to.

His resignation has caused some speculation about who will take his place, which leads to:

                                            New Leader for the Conservatives?

Well sure if they want to get anywhere other than opposition, they do need a leader with charisma and pizzazz and that doesn’t mean a constant anaemic smile. But look who the CBC in their never-ending speculating instead of reporting news is presenting as possible replacements.

Peter MacKay. The man that betrayed his promise and written agreement to David Orchard who for the good of the party was willing to step aside for MacKay to be the leader of the Progressive Conservative Party of Canada. The deal was that Stephen Harper would not be given the conservative name.  Well, we all know how that worked out, and how no matter what he did wrong – and he did plenty –  MacKay would always have a cabinet seat in any Harper government.

Stephen Harper himself….Seems he retired only to promote himself as the world’s greatest conservative in case he got the chance to mess up Canada again.  His destruction of the working process of the Canadian Parliament is well documented and here is just one sample. (John Baird claiming the right he would not grant Ms.May as a duly elected Member of Parliament)

Christy Clark, the ultra-conservative, libertarian who disguised herself as a BC Liberal and couldn’t name a corporate entity in BC which does not love her and gave her oodles of money in her failed bid to remain Dictatress of BC. Now openly supporting any conservative she knows and heaping praise on Brian Mulroney and Harper claiming they were saviours of Canada. Listening to her talk on the Power and Politics Premiers Panel on CBC is, to one from BC, sickening

John Baird.  Perhaps single-handedly managed to get the CIA anti- Libyan mercenaries to keep fighting so he could arrange to bomb civilians, hospitals, universities, schools and water supply pipelines (and the factories to make more pipes) without any threat of air interference.  Perhaps his greatest asset was that he could escort Loraine Harper to functions when Stephen was out gadding around feathering his private nest al la Mulroney.

Pierre Poilievre.  The architect of the unfair elections act, designed to stop First Nations and the homeless from voting, and pulling the teeth of Elections Canada to enforce a democratic election system in Canada.  Since being part of the opposition, he has attacked the PM personally too many times to count which is against parliamentary rules but he simply doesn’t care.  No thanks, Pierre.

Surely there must be some real person of integrity and personality somewhere in the conservative ranks who can appeal to all Canadians of conservative ilk and they don’t need to exhume these people, except Pierre of course.

But all in all, a very good day for Canada and a very bad day for Andrew Scheer.

Where have we been taken?

Maybe it’s time to look back a bit to see where and why we are where we are today.

We followed the USA inspired NATO invasion in Afghanistan, even though the Canadian People were not altogether behind it , thereby opening ourselves to the possibility of counter attacks on our civilians here in Canada.

We refused absolutely and completely to intercede in the Omar Kadyr affair particularly under this administration, washing our hands of him unlike every other country in the world whose citizens got swept up in the US net.

We supported and even encouraged Israel to slaughter the people of Gaza as and when they choose, and we supported their blockade of aid to those same people.

At the urging of the IMF we took part in a “NO FLY ZONE” over Libya which we quickly changed into an all out bombing of Libya to the point where our Minister of Foreign Affairs love for the so called freedom fighters gave them the ability, along with a huge loan from the IMF and the “donation” of a central bank controlled by the IMF, and support of the mercenary armed insurgence. to compete and win.  Eventually the Leader of the country was captured, tortured and killed and there was much rejoicing in Ottawa, in spite of the fact that we were signatories to the UN award for human rights endeavours by Libya just a few months before.

We cut off any diplomatic communications with who knows how many middle eastern countries, to show our administration’s disapproval of their behaviour.

Our reputation in the entire Middle East region was and still is in tatters and completely un-Canadian.

Big brother says help and we leap in without parliamentary approval to send “advisors” to Iraq for 30 days.  Before that 30 days is completed, we are told by an announcement in another country, as is usual with this dictatorial PM, that we are now getting involved in a 6 month war, again without parliamentary approval.

When eventually this does come before parliament the only MPs who support this are the PMO puppets who always do what they are told, and we have the ridiculous Minister of war saying : “We have been very clear. What we did was get Parliament’s support. I think that is something different, something that we never saw before” Hansard recording of  Question Period  9th October 2014., completely forgetting that the Libyan affair got unanimous approval and lead us into war crimes against the Libyan people, where as this new war did not have unanimous approval.  What a buffoon.

Next we have two attacks on military personnel in Canada, neither of which do I condone by the way, but oh how convenient.   There does not appear to be any connection to ISIL by either of these attackers, but they were both mentally unstable and Muslim so that is enough evidence apparently for our war mongering PM to say they were radicalized by ISIL.  Where is the evidence of that?  The rational is obvious to create fear that we will be subject to lots of attacks and must give up our rights and freedoms to be safe!  Yeah, been there and seen that happen before.  What was it that crazy woman said in London after the underground false flag bombing attack: “I will gladly give up my rights to be free.”  Here we go again.

Some questions:

Where is the evidence that Martin Couture-Rouleau and Michael Zehaf-Bibeau were radicalised ISIL attackers?

I have visited the CPC web site so does that mean I am now a mean spirited anti Canadian pro corporation bigot?

Where did Michael get his rifle from if indeed he was living in a homeless shelter? A Winchester 30-30 yet, not a cheap model and where did he keep it so the shelter was not aware he had it?

Was he being treated for his mental state, his drug problems and his criminal behaviour?

If he was known as a “druggy” with mental problems why was he not getting help?

How many more like him have been created by this administrations’ complete indifference to the plight of Canadian unemployed?

Since when does one’s religion automatically make one a radical in Canada?

Our PM claims to be some sort of christian, yet I know of no christian god who encourages war and killing, never mind hatred and contempt for fellow men be they from their own country or not; there are many clergy who preach that but gods?

As far as I know most gods seem to preach love, peace and tolerance, which is seldom shown by our present Canadian administration either here at home or abroad, why is that?

Whilst the leader of the administration was hiding in a closet, and the cabinet was trying to get in there with him, who was running the country?

Both the Privy council and the PMO can do nothing without his highness’s approval so who was in charge of the country? Beverly McLachlin? Did she know? Or maybe it was the HOC sergeant at arms. Did he know?

How is it possible that so many bullets were fired before the “suicidal man” was killed?

What does that say for the marksmanship of the defenders of the parliament?

Why when the country is at war, was the security of parliament breached so easily?

Do the security people not understand that we are at war yet again under this adminstration?

If this is was what a mentally deranged individual can do, what happens when the real thing hits?

Who can be surprised that new legislation is in the immediate future to enable more invasion of privacy, supposedly for the betterment of our safety? Again convenient, no doubt part of the plan put into place months ago to go along with the escalation of observer status into war status.  Perhaps part of the plan to change Canada eh?

The country desperately needs the clear headed, people oriented thinking of the Canadian Action Party, not the whipped frenzy of our present non representative, undemocratic bunch of misfits.

Vote for reality in 2015.

A Letter to Canadian MPs.

I was clearing out my drafts in my email today and came accross this which it seems I never sent.  However it seems appropos so I am putting it up here for your reading pleasure !.

To all Members of the Canadian House of Commons except one.

Some of you were not around the house a few years ago I grant, but your parties were, and as members of those parties you should all be included in this following statement.

You should every one of you, except Ms. May, look yourselves in the mirror and see the face of hypocrisy staring back at you concerning your actions, votes and intonations about the situation in the Crimea and the Ukraine

You pontificate about so called ‘Russian invasion’, you talk about democracy and human rights as if you know what those words mean, and you claim as a badge of honour being banned from another country. You talk on and on about sanctions both personal and state against Russians and Russia for actions they have orhave not taken in Crimea, as if that is the greatest crime of the century so far.

Ladies and gentlemen ( I use the terms here loosely) of the Canadian House of Commons it is not.

That crime falls to the glorious parliament of Canada which led the charge against and the invasion and destruction of a country know as Libya.

You all supported that, except Ms. May, and then claimed honour and valour in the Canadian actions of attacking civilian targets from the safety of the undefended air, whilst encouraging the mercenary forces on the ground ( and did those include Canadian special forces units as well?) to rape, kill and torture civilians not matter where they were found, and eventually lead to the capture, torture and death of the leader of the country in a prime example of blood lust.

Yes you backed that action supporting our Foreign office and its unwavering support for the ‘incredibly impressive” rebels, against a man who had established in Libya a standard of living so far above what we have here in Canada, that when he annoyed the IMF by threatening their never ending gluttony for money and profits, you fell all over yourselves to get rid of him.

Now after you put that shame of war crimes actions on the conscience of all thinking Canadians you step forward again with your absurd claims of democracy and human rights at the very time when you are taking them away from Canadians here at home.

People give you heads a shake and think what you are doing for once instead of what your glorious leaders are getting you to do.

More and more as one from BC I have the feeling of such disconnect with our so called federal government of fools that I am seriously beginning to accept the fact of BC leaving Canada and stepping away from these absurd situations. Perhaps it really is time to allow BC and Quebec to go as we have become a nation of fools being lead by traitors who are in turn being lead by corporate promises of wealth when they have done the dirty work.

Yes that is you.

Look at yourself and claim it is not so…I dare you…and if you can refute what I claim, then do so by your actions not your pathetic words. Stand up and be counted or else we should abandon this once glorious dream called Canada.

In total disgust at our so called representatives in Ottawa.
