Rule of Law in Canada?

Last night somehow, I found myself watching CPAC on which there was a panel of three Supreme Court of Canada judges at UVIC answering questions.

One came from a usual member of the public, who had no idea about the court system, requesting the judges’ reactions to bail hearings setting people free after serious crimes. The supreme court does not offer bail as they are a stage way beyond that, however the chief justice in reply mentioned that in Canada the principal is “innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt” so bail, except in extreme cases, is almost mandatory and immediate.

Instantly the case of Tamara Lich came to my mind, where she was arrested on the charge of “mischief” (such a violent, viscous and hateful crime !) and was kept in jail – not a comfortable prison- but in jail, solitary confinement yet, despite not having been convicted of anything for 2 weeks before a bail hearing was even held. Meanwhile, Canada’s bail laws continue to allow habitually violent offenders loose after just a few days or maybe even hours in custody.

The Canadian Criminal Code states: “Persons who are charged with an offence are constitutionally entitled to be released from custody unless Crown Counsel is able to justify their continued detention … including consideration of the background of the accused and risk to the public.” It’s inconceivable that Lich could be considered a risk to anyone. Back to the CPAC program, several times “the rule of law” was mentioned by the trio of judges and it has long been my contention that the rule of law does not actually exist here in Canada, after all, how could there still not be any end to the trial of Barber and Lich after over 3 years. On the other hand, a primary school drama teacher turned politician who used hate speech against that Convoy and all its supporters (and that included me) was not charged with anything under the Criminal Code. Lets not also forget the enactment of the Emergencies Act when a simple conversation could have solved the problem. Rule of Law applied to him? Hell no.

To my mind both the Rule of Law and the Charter of Rights a Freedoms were both abandoned by Trudeau and it remains to be seen if this WEF banker will reinstate them.

Somehow I doubt it.

Post 2025 Federal Election in Canada

8th May 2025.

I was idly half asleep this afternoon prior to my nap after watching the Russian 80-year celebrations of the ending of the Great Patriotic War (WW2 ) in Berlin in 1945 to which there were no representatives present from the allies of that time, when I had this thought about things happening in threes.

The threes are not related to the above celebration at all.

These three started in 2015 when an upstart third party drama teacher from an elementary school in Montreal made a promise to all Canadians that 2015 would be the very last first-past-the-post election in Canada, and we bought it and elected him to be the next PM.  Well, we all know how that worked out because the mandate given to the committee was flawed. They were supposed to come back with a recommendation but they did not do so, instead thanks to Scott Reid and his determination to hold a referendum there was no consensus of any kind on a new system, giving Trudeau the out he needed to go back on his solemn promise.

The truth often evades being recognized due to its utter incredibility  Pericles?

Next comes number two: the total scam of covid 19, which made a huge amount of money for Acuitas Therapeutics, out of the UBC which came up with the method for injecting a toxic, untested mRNA jab into people which the whole world mandated one way or another.  40% of this entity is owned by the Trudeau Family Foundation so 40% of the profits from a world-wide system equals a lot of money.  Naturally with all this money at stake the PM was not only a promoter of this jab but his hate speech towards those who opposed his dismantling of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms through the Freedom Convoy, lead to the peaceful protest in Ottawa which he absolutely refused to address or even listen to. This is one of the things he said:

“Today in the House all MPs unanimously condemned the antisemitic, islamophobia, anti-black racism, homophobia and transphobia that we have ever seen on display in Ottawa over the past number of days. Together. Let’s keep working to make Canada more inclusive.”   (Actually that was a lie as no such condemnation was made at all in the House that day) but the hate speech was ignored by the Attorney General (the defendfer of the Crinimal Code), as usual.

This whole mess ended eventually in an illegal application of the Emergencies Act, violent military suppression of peaceful protesters and seizing of citizens’ bank accounts.  No actions taken against this absolute evil use of power, and really none was anticipated because this PM was above the rule of law in Canada.

Kissinger quote from a speech to the WHO Council on Eugenics,February 25th 2009: “Once the herd accepts mandatory vaccinations, It’s GAME OVER. They will accept anything – Forcible blood or organ donation- “For the greater good”. We can genetically modify children and sterilize them- “For the greater good”. Control sheep minds and you control the herd. Vaccine makers stand to make billions. And many of you in this room are investors. It’s a BIG win/win.

Now we come to number three.  At a time when Trudeau was soo disliked by the people of Canada that it was apparent that the liberals might even not obtain party status, Jasmeet Singh (desperate for his pension) would still not bring the government down (although doing so would have probably guaranteed his pension through reelection) Trudeau did the usual liberal tactic, delay via proroguing parliament and resigning at the same time.  Great timing as TRUMP, the ever-threatening presence from the USA, was making some very strange speeches and quite clearly interfering in our forthcoming electoral process.  Out of the wings comes the unctuous, smug, “carbon tax Carney” to be greeted like a hero and made interim PM. The rest is history, in that there were more in the way of irregularities than ever before.  For example 86 fake candidates were approved by elections Canada in one riding (Carlton) with only 100 people giving them all permission to run.  I am told that in the byelection in Alberta they are proposing to have 200 fake candidates and they will if EC do not smarten up.

This result is heralding the new carbon taxes to come (including a proposed tax on home equity) and just like before these taxes will benefit the new PM financially.  That is what he is here for, to cripple Canada and make more money for himself.

I am still wondering what the pay back is for the thousands of politicians around the world to promote the hoax of man-made climate change. Is it monetary or just recognition of being stupid?  (Maybe in their minds it’s not being thought of as being stupid – who knows)

Climate change is real enough as it has been happening for millions of years without ANY assistance from Mankind, and yet here we still are.  Education on how to adapt to what is coming that we cannot change would be a much better idea than the absurd concept that a gas which is 0.04% of the earth’s atmosphere is going to end all life on the planet.

What we really need on this planet are people who are less interested in war and making personal monetary gain from us all they that cannot eat, and are more interested in enjoying and making the most of what we already have.

19th Century Cree saying      “Only when the last tree has died, and the last fish has been caught, and the last river has been poisoned, will they realize that money cannot be eaten”.

Elections are democratic here in Canada?

So, the people of Canada think we are having a democratic moment.

We, the people of Canada, have let what little democracy we may have had at one time slip and now we are letting it slip even more. 

Let’s look for a moment at democracy and what it is supposed to be because it seems that Canadians no longer have any idea about it.  It is just a word we use pushed by our politicians and their propaganda media to make us think it exists here in Canada. 

It does not.

A Canadian parliament is elected person by person until every available seat is filled. We are theoretically electing someone to represent us to the eventual government, but how often do we check to see if they are doing that?   Yes, they nearly all belong a political party which has a particular bent on how things should be done and these parties are now used as a voting block with perhaps little regard for the constituents. and that voting block or platform may be what draws some to vote. Then the party which forms a majority of support in parliament forms a government based on the party’s bent, and the leader of that party is declared the new Prime Minister.

OK that’s basically how it is supposed to work but in actuality it does not work that way.

Right from the start of a Canadian election it is all about who will be the next Prime Minister.  How many times have you had a canvassing call asking if you are going to vote for this leader or that for Prime Minister when they may not even live or stand for election in your province? Polls are conducted on that subject, and talking heads on our propaganda media discuss it all the time when it is all false.

Your vote is for your local MP to be and so the question should not be about their party leader but how much do you know about them? 

Where I live there is party leader running and so the question of which leader might be valid to some, but I do not judge her by her party or leadership of it (I am against the 3 major platforms of her party) but instead by what she has done for her constituents or indeed the number of private member’s bill she has managed to get into law for all Canadians. These are important to me as they should be to anyone who is even vaguely interested in democracy, not the automatic bending of the knee to a party whip. Who is actually important to the elected member – the party whip or the constituent?

I actually stood for election in 2008, and fought the local media to get any time or space as they claimed my “party” did not have a candidate in every seat when in fact the only party that year that did was the conservative party. I actually had fun interacting with voters, asking them what they wanted or not, and making some fairly outrageous but true statements about my opposition. I was also lucky to have a videographer who came with me (Paul Stein) to record meetings I could attend.

One thing I did was ask about 1oo hundred people if they would belong to an email list of constituents I would email every week with the votes I was due to make on their behalf (complete with precis of my pros and cons) and for them to email me back “yea” or “nay”. I even had people come up to me and ask if they could be on the list and I said yes as soon as I get elected.  

They showed interest you see in how things should be done and wanted to participate. Today we are lucky if we ever hear back from our MPs. 

I heard one candidate saying that it was difficult to get the necessary signatures from locals giving permission to run and I wonder why as my daughter and I collected 300 + signatures of people willing to give me permission to run (not necessarily to vote for me) on Beacon Avenue in just over 2.5  hours. Most of them were happy to sign and be asked to participate in the process.

So, where am I going with this?

What do you know about your candidates and their positions on matters of real concern to you?

What are the matters that really concern you?

We all know the party platforms that they represent and the promises that are made during the election period with no legal intention of fulfilling those promises, but what are their own opinions and desires to serve you?

Which is more important to them – their party or their constituents?  (Today it is all about reelection to what can become a very cushy job in many respects. Travel from the west coast is a bit of a bear but just do what the party wants and they will sign your papers for the next time).

Being a member of the Canadian parliament also means that there is a responsibility to Canadian affairs.  Does your candidate support their party in three subjects that all parties support? Or do they have the strength of their own convictions and those of the majority of their constituents that they are willing to support if you ask them.

All major parties support:

Unending support for the Nazis in Ukraine giving them dollars that would be much better spent here at home and denying the prospect of a just peace? Combined with an unwillingness to understand what it is really all about.

Unending support for arming the Zionist genocide in Palestine under the pretext that Israel has the right to defend itself !  

(How can any real person sleep at night while this slaughter of women and children is getting more egregious every day. It sickens me that almost our entire parliament is ok with this).

Supporting the hoax that CO2 is responsible for climate change.

Those are my three for Canada, what are yours?

Now of course there is support for the imposition of retaliatory tariffs on American products thereby giving us a “much needed” extra tax. Does your candidate support that extra tax? Do you and have you made that clear? Do you remember how the USA started?  With a tax of 5% on tea. Now it is about to be destroyed with 100% tariffs on some things.   Taxes, taxes and more taxes, and these moronic current Canadian politicians are doing the same thing – raising taxes by instigating tariffs.   They claim to be Canadians fighting for Canada when in fact all they are doing is being a new tax man.  Great!

There is a terror of foreign interference in our elections and business and yet there is no complaint against the Americans interfering with their barrage of slurs and tariffs. When we interfere with our own elections (by nonstop lying propaganda) why would we blame others for doing the same?

Support the increased spending on our military against enemies in the Artic when our major enemy is south of us. For that matter why are we still in NATO? (I still wonder who will attack us militarily anyway)

Are your candidates afraid of the Zionist Lobby which is very strong here in Canada? It is vitriolic, demonic and prejudiced against all non-Zionists and quick to condemn all opposition as anti-semantic and through fear controls all major parties through such threats and contributions under the table. That’s the Zionist way as the Jews have practiced for hundreds of years.

Will they (your candidates) support the cancelling of one engine planes to patrol our north? Planes which the Americans can take over and control any time they want (through installed software) and get instead two engined planes – much safer for the pilots – and within our own control and not subject to any tariffs. We are a sovereign nation and we are not obligated to buy an American plane that does not fit our needs.

For my local candidates are they even aware of the restoration projects in this riding? Both here on the main island and on the Gulf Islands which require time, effort and CO2.

Are they willing to co-ordinate with local MLAs and provincial agencies to get things done re health, education, housing, infrastructure and crime?

Just some of the things we should all know about our candidates; these of course are my pet peeves but the question is what are yours and how does your candidate fit with them?

It is our country and our election in which to make a difference or we can just do the same thing over and over again and expect the impossible to happen.

Democracy is a myth in Canada and will be as long as we deny it as a possibility.  We can make a difference if we choose to and this would be a good time to choose..

April Election in Canada 2025

The options we have in front of us are to say the least meager.

The Bank of Canada act in the 1930s created a people owned bank to finance our needs.  The idea was that the BOC would finance the federal, provincial and municipal governments needs at a very low rate using our natural resources as collateral. Upon repayment the working costs for the BOC were deducted and the remainer sent to the federal finance minister for use on Canadians needs.  This carried us through the ww2 with a massive merchant fleet transporting to Europe, and after we emerged with very little debt we build hospitals, schools road’s etc., and financed the Canada Pension Plan and Health care and in the 70s our national debt (owed to ourselves) was a mere $70 million.  Then, in the mid-70s Gerald Bouey without the peoples’ permission signed the BOC onto Basil 1, 11 and 111 with the bank of international settlements thereby opening Canada up to loans from international banks and investors and turning the BOC into an inflation watchdog and interest setter.   Now our national debt is tripping over $3 trillion and servicing that debt is now our largest national expenditure by far.   M Carney was a mover and shaker in the transformation of the BOC and did the same with the Bank of England, and now we are being asked to allow him to turn Canada over to Claus Schwab and his WEF one world order with Claus as king?

At this point I should mention that The State of North Dakota copied what we had done and created the Bank of Nort Dakota, owned by the people of North Dakota and to this day they have a very small debt for operating expenses owed to themselves.  Unlike us however they are not using international loaners and they have no need to. 

Why is this important? because we in Canada need to be taxed almost into the poverty line to pay for this debt while the people of North Dakota do not have such a problem.   We cannot reduce taxes without increasing our indebtedness.

I find myself realising that all leaders and parties support the Nazis in Ukraine (how odd), the Zionists in their pursuit of genocide in Gaza and the West Bank, and the hoax called Climate Change due to CO2.  For millions of years the climate on this planet has changed from hot to cold and back again without any help from arrogant humans, especially those who want to kill all plant life with zero CO2.

My local MP believes all three of these horrors, but she has worked for her constituents and for Canadians introducing and passing private members bills of some importance.  So, she will get my vote on that basis alone.

None of the stories I have ever written is more important than the one I am writing now.If you will indulge me a lack of brevity this one time, I will explain.It begins with the three times I realized that the safety and security we so prize here in the United States of America is an illusion. It’s not and never was true. It doesn’t exist. We only believed it did.
The first time I realized it was in the aftermath of 9/11. After I witnessed the World Trade Center towers crumble before my eyes little more than a mile from my New York City apartment, authorities posted police with automatic weapons and huge American flags at the entrance to every bridge and tunnel in the city.We felt safe seeing those images, but each time I ventured through those tunnels and over those bridges, I had a question:”What’s stopping that truck in front of me from being laden down with fertilizer and explosives? Who knows what’s in the trunk of every car in front and back of me?”We weren’t safe at all. Terrorists just didn’t decide to blow us all to hell.
The second time I realized there is no such thing as safety and security came when Donald Trump promised building a wall at the Southern border to keep illegals out.I thought, “Mexicans are renowned for building tunnels from Mexico directly to homes on the U.S. side in Texas and California to smuggle in people and drugs. How can a wall prevent that?”A wall could not make us safe at all. We only believed it could.
The third time I realized safety and security is an illusion was on January 6th, 2021, when Donald Trump’s MAGA supporters overran the United States Capitol – the seat of power of the US government – injuring law enforcement officers and defacing the offices of cowering, terrified duly elected lawmakers. The ease with which they penetrated our most sacred symbols of the rule of law and order in America showed me that if this could be done by only a few thousand mostly-unarmed citizens, there really is no such thing as safety and security in this country. We only believed there was.
The final time I realized there is no safety and security in the United States of America has come in the last three weeks, or rather, since Donald Trump returned to The White House. Under the guise of weeding out corruption and with South African-born Elon Musk as the tip of the spear, Donald Trump and his Republican confederates have turned every facet of American government upside down, installed inexperienced and unqualified loyalists in positions of power in every sector of government and thrown thousands of hard-working Americans – many of whom voted for him – out into the streets. While stunned, outnumbered Democrats were frozen to inaction, Trump, through executive order, made laws, changed laws and ignored orders from courts to stop in his tracks. While those of us who opposed him screamed that his actions and those of Elon Musk were tantamount to creating a fascist government and a dictatorship, we were only partially right. See, people, Trump’s dictatorship has already begun. It is HERE. It is NOW.
For those who don’t believe this is true, what we all missed while focusing on the flood of executive orders and bizarre musings of taking over the Gaza Strip, annexing Canada as the 51st state against their will, purchasing Greenland to rename it Red, White and Blueland and taking over the Panama Canal is this: Trump was merely testing the waters to see how much power and authority he truly had. The final step in his plan will be to ignore any and all court challenges aimed at stopping him.
What should be clear to you now is that there was really only one barrier to Donald Trump taking over this country and remaking it in his image: The fact that the only thing that has kept our democracy in place since it was written in 1787 is a piece of paper called the U.S. constitution. That constitution only works if our politicians RESPECT the power within, the rule of law. Donald Trump clearly does not respect the constitution as have all other United States presidents before him. Worse, without respect for the Constitution and our laws, THERE IS NO AUTHORITY LEFT TO STOP HIM.
There is no police force who can reign Trump in.
There is no military to reign Trump in.
There are no lawmakers or judges to reign Trump in.
And soon, as Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayer declared recently during a speech at Miami Dade College, Donald Trump will refuse to comply with all orders of the court – and his takeover will be complete – for there is no authority remaining to police him.
Like Sotomayer, the American Bar Association just released a statement declaring that, “Trump is not following the rule of law.”Now, the reason why the ABA sounds like a kid screaming, “Charlie hit me!” is because they’ve reached the conclusion that there is nothing they can do about Trump not following the rule of law. This has never happened before in the history of this country, but it IS happening now.
Hey, America, hey World, you can call it a monarchy, or fascism or a totalitarian government or a dictatorship, but whatever you call it, Donald Trump and Elon Musk are the law of the land now.

The 1,500 January 6th rioters who were tried and convicted in federal courts?Trump freed them. On Day 1.
New York City Mayor Eric Adams, who was brought up on corruption charges after a decade-long investigation?He cozied up to Trump, who order his Department of Justice to drop the charges.
If that’s not enough, I think Donald Trump has one more trick up his sleeve, as I predict he is being lobbied at this very moment to grant clemency to an old friend who has been accused of pedophilia, drugging and raping male and female victims, physically assaulting others and possibly sanctioning numerous murders over the past 30 years.
So what, pray tell, will you say when Donald Trump pardons Sean Diddy Combs?

In less than a month back in office, all of the checks and balances have been removed. Republicans control the house and the senate. Every cabinet pick Trump proposes will be confirmed. No decision he makes, whether it’s instructing the Treasury Department to stop making the penny or bringing back the plastic straw, is being denied.
While his supporters cheer his every move, they have yet to see the cost cuts Elon Musk and his team of hackers make under cover of darkness are hurting American farmers, American workers and those in the poorest red states in the country who voted for him. For them, and us, it’s already too late to realize it’s too late.
If you saw Musk recently in the oval office with his young son holding court while Trump sat idly by, you should have realized the richest man in the world controls the supposed most powerful man in the world. Only Elon Musk is holding Elon Musk accountable and Trump – who is likely paying Musk back for whatever he did to help him take the 2024 election – is allowing it to happen.
As you read these words, it is likely that Elon Musk has already had his hackers place back doors into every major computer system across the US government, which gives him the power to shut down any program he chooses at any time on an app while sitting in the driver’s seat of his Tesla.
For those in the back or in the nosebleed section or under a rock, let me say it again:
Elon Musk and Donald Trump are the law of the land. Today. Right now.
The United States of America is no longer a democracy. We are now a dictatorship.
In closing, let me say that I don’t believe in presenting problems without offering solutions. There IS something we can do to fight this takeover and resist this bloodless coup that has stripped away the sense of freedom we have known all of our lives – but it will require of us a resolve and action most of us have never known or shown.
It will require us to unite, fight, stand up, risk our lives and our liberty – because one thing dictators have never fully understood is that THE PEOPLE truly are the power. Think of it this way: if we don’t want the price of an automobile in America to be $50,000, well, if nobody buys those cars, there won’t be a $50,000 car in America.
With that in mind, should Elon Musk and Donald Trump try to dump hundreds of thousands of federal employees out into the streets, simply refuse to leave. If forced from your offices, show up to work en masse the next day – and every day after – and make sure NOBODY goes into those offices.
If Trump’s new Department of Defense head Pete Hegseth makes a demand of the 3.5 million workers he now oversees, what can he possibly do if they disobey in the name of American democracy?
The same goes for new national security director Tulsi Gabbard, who has never worked in security or run a department of ANY kind.
The same goes for new Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem, new Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. – or any other Trump appointee.
None of these figureheads – not even Trump himself – can do anything without our complicity.
Lastly, this battle is only just beginning.
You must protect your physical and mental well-being.
You don’t have the time or energy to fight meaningless squabbles on social media against Trump’s MAGA sycophants who believe every narrative they sell.
No matter if they are friends or family or casual acquaintances on social media, SILENCE THEIR VOICES and influence. Block, snooze, delete or ignore them.For me, the purge begins TODAY! I’d love to tell the people going away that it isn’t personal, but their blind belief system is a direct threat to me, my friends, family, neighbors, fellow Americans, Canadians, Palestinians, and, well, you get the picture
trust what your eyes and ears are telling you. Hope that they will catch up and join our fight against this power virus threatening our country and the world.
Lastly, remember the words of philosopher Bertrand Russell, who said roughly this of how fascism begins:
“First they fascinate the fools. Then they muzzle the intelligent. “If you’ve gotten this far, it’s because you’re not a fool. We got here because all of our lives we believed in that concept devised by our founding fathers of “We The People.”
Well, the only way out from under the megalomania of Donald Trump, Elon Musk and their collaborators is to make every day January 6th.If you feel so moved, please share my post. Minister,

It is likely that this is the last time I will be writing to you and I list the questions I have asked you many times in your position as Minister for Climate Change and as yet I have not heard one word from you.  No wonder your government is so out of favour with Canadians.

You have promoted a hoax since you became a minister and have absolutely no idea what you are promoting! You have brought into the propaganda of unrealistic people, falling for the trap set by Al Gore, unelected international NGOs, Greta Thunberg  and the Green Party.

What is carbon net zero?

How will you get there?

How will you know you are there?

Where are you going to get all the new electricity you will need? (It is my understanding that Switzerland has now banned electric vehicles because they do not have enough electricity to power them).

Have you stated building the millions of miles of hydro lines yet?

If so, where are they?

Or where will they be?

How are you going to electrify the railroads?

Overhead lines or third rail?

How will you protect either in Canada’s winter months?

How will you make electric vehicles both cheap, safe and efficient with batteries that will last for more than a few years before catching fire?

How will you make those batteries in a carbon efficient (neutral) way?

When will you come up with wind turbines that actually work 24 /7/12 instead of only when the wind is at gale force?

And are those turbines carbon neutral in their construction and maintenance?

I could go on for pages with these questions but these should be enough for you to realise that you are chasing a pipe dream and unfortunately, we, the Canadian people, would be the ones who would have had to pay huge sums of money to try and fail to alter something that has been happening for millions of years without any help or hinderance from arrogant mankind.

Instead of uttering non-stop BS about carbon you could have been figuring out how to help people all over the world deal with the eventual climate changes that are coming our way.

Oh finally, do you panic every day when the temperature rises by many more than a few degrees between sunrise and midday?

I do not expect a reply this time either as I am sure you are busy looking for a new job.

Minister Puts Costs At $690B

“Climate change targets will cost Canadian electrical utilities about two thirds of a trillion dollars,” Environment Minister Steven Guilbeault said yesterday. Guilbeault in a legal notice said the country had no choice but to stop burning fossil fuels for electricity.

“Climate change is a growing threat to Canada and the world,” said a Regulatory Impact Analysis Statement issued by Guilbeault. “We are already seeing the costs.”

Well, Minister, when are you going to face the truth and stop selling these lies to help promote another international hoax?

I have asked you to define net zero and you clearly cannot.

I have asked you how we will get our oxygen to breathe and stay alive if you manage this absurd goal?   Again, you have no idea.

(Perhaps you could also advise Mr. Van Koeverden, who definitely understands water very well, that CO2 is actually a plant food not a conservative disinformation hoax as I heard him say in the House of Ill Repute.)

I have asked you where you will get all the new hydro from, and you have no idea.

I have asked you how you will get thousands, if not millions, of miles of new hydro lines all over the country to transmit your 100% electricity mode and how you will protect them from winter damage or summer heat, and you have absolutely no idea.

I have asked you how you are going to electrify the railroads across the country, whether it will be by overhead lines or a third rail? And how you will protect either from the Canadian winters?  Again, you have no idea.

All this is bad enough but you still claim the climate changes we are seeing are man made, which any REAL scientist will tell you is false.

The climate on this planet has changed many, many times over the span of the millions of years since it was created, and human behaviour had absolutely nothing to do with it then and it does not now.  Pollution yes, climate change NO.

Your job is not to spread fake news and asinine ideas to deal with that fake news, but instead to find ways to deal with what is coming as surely as the sun will rise in the morning, and to help the world (Canadians too) to figure out how to survive what is coming. At least it is a gradual change.

If you cannot do this then at least concentrate on the environment side of your job and do something about the poisoning of our land, water and sky.   That you can do something about instead of simply ignoring it.

In the final year of its third term, the Liberal government has a series of significant climate policies in the works aimed at getting Canada to net zero by 2050. 

When he announced the emissions cap framework, Guilbeault explicitly raised the prospect of a Poilievre government bringing down not only that specific measure, but the entire edifice of the Liberals’ climate policy.

“It’s not just the cap that is at risk,” said Guilbeault in December 2023. “The Conservative Party of Canada (and) Pierre Poilievre don’t seem to be willing or able or capable to understand that pollution kills people in Canada.”

This is what prompted my last request, but you too seem to have forgotten that the environment is your port folio as well and that the environment is dangerous because of all the toxic chemicals you are allowing to be put into our waters, land and air, while you are only interested in depleting the life giving CO2. 

(Perhaps you could also advise Mr. Van Koeverden, who definitely understands water very well, that CO2 is actually a plant food not a conservative disinformation hoax as I heard him say in the House of Ill Repute. By the way I am the only one in 4 generations who does not have a university degree in one form of botany or another.)

If this government falls your legacy will be one of dishonest failure and I don’t think you want that.

Where has Canadian civility and common sense gone?

When I read this, I was reminded that in years  past there was a veterans hospital in Victoria – St. Mary’s where on remembrance day a group of men with whom I was associated would show up and  escort wheelchair vets to the Victoria cenotaph. It gave them great pleasure and was a small enough way to express our appreciation.  The Hospital was rebuilt with a chapel on site and the number of wheelchair vets dwindled.  I made the comment on our last trip there that it would behoove us to stop remembering just the Canadians or Allies men and women and remember that there were others who fought for what they believed was right and suffered too.  There was no dispute to my words.

That was actually the last time I went to the cenotaph as I was somewhat put off by the rhetoric about terrorism being the number one problem in the world.  Now (except this year) I sit under an oak tree by the huge flag pole in Beacon Hill Park, smoke a small cigar and listen to the guns in the harbour and remember family, friends and people I knew who are no longer with us; and I also recall the hugely disfigured men of the German Airforce who stayed with their burning planes to steer them away from houses. At the age of seven I used to see them on the buses in Sussex and after the immediate horror we got used to them and spoke with them as fellow humans. I remember them too.

So it pains me to see the ignorant attitude and behaviour of Canadians who should know better.  We like to pride ourselves on our diverse peoples and yet bigoted idiots stand up and criticize others for expressing their feelings for their peoples on a Remembrance Day.

Are they not allowed that ability? 

Are they somehow lesser people than those who object?

Why are the Zionists and their supporters always right and in the thick of it all?

They may not be aware that they too are just people, nothing special, not superior, not specially gifted, their religion is no more mythical than all the others, even though they think their as yet invisible god has given them special rights….What?  Before you yell antisemitic, not true anti-Zionist yes anti Jew no.

But my beef is with those religious bigots who do not allow others the rights they give themselves.  In this land of division and hatred regretfully this is now way too common, and I yearn for the day when the Canadian sheep of all breeds will awake to who and what they are, get their heads out of their smartphones, look around at our fantastic country and start acting like human beings again.

It is not a political choice to do this, it is a human choice.

House Leader Gould called Supplementary Estimates (B) necessary, pointing to line items like $400 million in new foreign aid for Ukraine. “We just passed the 1,000-day mark in Ukraine for the terrible, horrible, illegal war that Russia is waging,” said Gould. “We’re seeing now more than ever they need support. These are things that matter to Canadians and that are important to Canadians.”

ANOTHER $400 million…..!!!!!

Do you really imagine that Canadians who are lining up at food banks, living in tents under overpasses, wondering what they must give up for clothing their kids this winter, or simply trying to stay alive care one damn about your war in Ukraine.  Yes, it is your war not ours.

I also know that the PM and his adoring MPs think the sun shines out of Zelensky the Nazi ex-president of Ukraine, Jewish, comedian/conman, but the average Canadian does not agree with the sending of yet more tax payers’ money there when there is soo much it is needed for here at home and we do not believe he,  Zelensky, needs any more mansions purchased with our money. We understand that they are all places for the PM to visit for free vacations but really, tell that to those in homeless encampments right across Canada.

Ukraine is losing its scrap with Russia, started in 2014 by the US/Canadian coup and it is way past time for this worthless Canadian government to stop throwing money down the drain.

If indeed “the terrible, horrible, illegal war that Russia is waging,” was not anticipated, why were we (and still are) positioning thousands of Canadian military “advisors” in Latvia?  They were sent there to teach Nazi Ukrainian “wannabe” soldiers how to bomb, shell, rape torture and kill those of Russian descent in the Donbas were they not?  Hell of a job for the descendants of Vimy Ridge.

You all must think we are really stupid and maybe we are, but when history is recorded it will not be kind to this WEF administration.

Do I sound angry? Well, that is because I am and I do not approve or consent to your actions either in Ukraine or Gaza/West Bank/Lebanon where you have turned us into war criminals by our abetting the Zionists.  That is not what I want for my great grandchildren to grow up learning about their country.

A SAD REMEMBERANCE DAY

I awoke this morning late and missed the opportunity to get to my usual spot to remember my uncles who died to protect what they believed was freedom from oppression and the “Nazis”. I usually sit near the Flag Pole hearing the guns go off in the Victoria Harbour.

I am puzzled, annoyed and disgusted by those like Trudeau who laid wreaths at cenotaphs across the country.  It is hard to understand how they could bend and honour fallen soldiers whilst they wholeheartedly support, supply with weapons and money those whose genocidal actions continued throughout this day of so-called remembrance.

The State of Zionists killed again and again today in Gaza, the West Bank and Lebanon. In Gaze they bombed a cafe in what they had designated a “safe zone”.   These are the descendants of those the allies fought to free from the “holocaust” they claim as the excuse for anything they do; combined with the overused accusation of antisemitism as if that was any worse that anti-war, anti-hate, anti-gay or even anti-homophobic.   It is just another word for insecure, pathetic people to hide behind.

While I am quite sure that the majority of Canadians want to see an end to the Zionist slaughter of those Palestinians, especially the women, children and babies, yet our weak and fearful elected representatives in our Parliament are all fully supportive of Israel, and are sending weapons to assist in this genocide.  We are also sending money, both taxpayers’ money and tax-free charitable donations from Zionists groups whose main purpose is to send Canadian cash to Zionists to kill Palestinians.  Their other purpose is the Zionist Lobby which, along with the WEF have replaced our sovereignty, and which our representatives fear so much.

On the other front our representatives are fully supporting a country of such corruption that the weapons it has begged for and received are now being sold by Ukrainian arms dealers all over the world. Our representatives continue to worship and adore their Nazi, con man, comedian, ex-president who is welcomed into our House of Ill Repute, applauded, lauded and fawned upon, but when another Nazi in the gallery is also applauded all hell breaks loose, and that sums up our current Canadian representatives.  What is the difference between an old man who was and maybe still is a Nazi and the full blown current thing and a Jew to boot?

What also bothers me is that those men and women who we remember today would not understand the fact that when we go to the polls next time it will not mean anything except maybe a different colour of ruling fascists in Canada.

Clearly the torch has been not only dropped but deliberately thrown away.
