The Honourable Melanie Joly

Canadian Minister of Foreign Affairs

Member of Parliament for Ahuntsic-Cartierville

WEF attendee.

8th March 2023

The Government broadcasting company stated that while you were in India for the G20 Foreign Ministers’ conference you told your Chinese counterpart:

“Canada will never tolerate foreign interference”

The word “never” implies that this has always been the case and will be in the future.  I find this a bit misleading because we are and have been interfering in the affairs of other countries.

Currently the Ukraine (for nine years now) and Haiti since forever.

and how about this list to mention just a few more from the past:

Libya

Peru

Chile

Afghanistan

Bolivia

Venezuela

I trust your Chinese counter part was too much of a gentleman to laugh outright.

I am not a religious man but I do recall this saying by one religious man or another:

Before you can caste out the mite in another’s eye you must first caste out the mote in your own.

If and when we cease to interfere with other countries and concentrate on our problems here at home, then and only then will we be in a position to talk to others on a  level relationship about our mutual problems.

I do not approve of Canada’s duplicity in this matter.

GAMES ARE SUPPOSED TO BE FUN NOT POLITICAL

The Honourable Melanie Joly, Minster of Foreign Affairs

The Honourable Pascale St-Onge, Minister of Sports

ASIAN GAMES

&

Canadian hypocrisy

29th January 2023

It has come to my attention that the countries which think they owe allegiance to the USA want to ban Russian and Belarusian athletes from partaking in these games under their own countries’ flags, but should instead take part as independents.

Once again there is such hypocrisy here and I fear and regret that Canada might even be considering supporting such a move.  If there should have been any doubt all we have to do is look to the Arctic Games now being held in Alberta.

There can only be one country that is wanting this to happen and that is the USA.  Yet, they themselves have been involved in 30+ military invasions, political interventions, destructive sanctions or even assassinations of foreign politicians/leaders (Hussain and Ghaddafi) all of which contravene the UN Charter, simply to impose their will and what they consider is their right to plunder:

“No State or group of States has the right to intervene or interfere in any form or for any reason whatsoever in the internal and external affairs of other States. … The right and duties set out in this Declaration are interrelated and are in accordance with the Charter of the United Nations. Dec 9, 1981 “

We have learned, specially over the last few years, that international law applies to every country in the world except the USA and because they are soo self-centered in their claim to righteousness no country has wanted to challenge them.

Now there appears to be a new separate polorisation happening with the BRICKS monetary system of not using the US dollar for anything – specially oil – and the SCO group which is more interested in each country helping each other, rather than operating out of selfish greed.

Regretfully it is clear to me that with our complete political ties to the WEF along with the UN, WHO, IMF, BIS, EU, NATO etc., – all controlled by the US (I dare say the WEF could not exist without US approval) there is no way that we can, or even want to, stand alone as a country.  We have been so tied to these unelected bodies through support or financial indebtedness that we no longer have control over our actions.   Politicians in Canada, with very few exceptions, have absolutely no interest in what is happening to Canadian people, but instead stand up like penguins and blindly vote the way their leader instructs them to on undemocratic bills which contravene the Charter of Rights and Freedoms in our House of Ill Repute.

Since we have ourselves been involved in conflicts against the UN Charter – quoted earlier – in Haiti and Libya to mention just two please give me a reason why Canadian athletes should be allowed to represent Canada if Russian or Belarusians cannot represent their countries.

We have a leader who tells the world, and way too often Canadians as well, that we are a country that believes in “the rule of law” and “personal rights and freedoms” and yet our government and he specially pays no attention to either. I think they are an anathema to him and perhaps his sense of religious instability.

We need leaders in this country that actually care about Canada and Canadians rather than their own image of themselves.  We have precious few of them and they are being thrown out of the Liberal caucus, sidelined in the NDP, and where the heck are they in the conservatives? The Bloc seem to have way more than their share but of course they are separate.

But my question really is this?   Are we going to support all athletes of the world in the 2023 Asian Games or are we going to do the bidding of the USA?

Maybe it is time to look really seriously at ourselves as Canadians but more importantly as human beings and start to look after those with less than we have.  Time to start to learn to love and play and smell the roses again, and stop the endless violence and hate we have for anyone who is born or dares to be different.
